TOGETHER WITH

Good morning, Lancaster. The NFL Draft started last night. If Lancaster had a favorite online newsletter, my mom said she'd draft me number one. Thanks, Mom.

In today's Lancaster Ledger:

• Taylor Chip is officially done with bankruptcy

• Hell in a Bucket Brewing is coming back

• W.O.L.F. Gyms sets a Rockvale open date

Let's do it.

THE DIGEST

Taylor Chip's bankruptcy is officially over 🍪

Taylor Chip, the Lancaster-based ice cream and cookie company, will have its Chapter 11 bankruptcy dismissed after a federal judge signed off during a Tuesday hearing. Taylor Chip originally filed in February 2026 with $2.6 million in liabilities against $387,000 in assets; reorganization fell apart as sales declined, and all remaining locations closed April 11. Newtek Bank, which holds a $2.1 million loan, consented to the dismissal and will pursue its claim outside bankruptcy after a final $5,000 payment from the company.

Doug and Sara Taylor launched Taylor Chip in 2018; Sara made Forbes' "30 Under 30" in 2024. In an April 16 video, Sara told followers, "Maybe Taylor Chip will come back. We have no clue." Keep an eye on this one.

Hell in a Bucket Brewing is coming back in June 🍺

The Marietta brewpub that closed last November is reopening this June. Hell in a Bucket Brewing was founded in 2020 by Jeffrey Neighbors and Matthew Zorning — the friends launched in Wrightsville before relocating to 392 E. Front Street in Marietta in February 2024. Zorning passed away in April 2025, and the brewery closed seven months later. The property and all the equipment were auctioned in February, and a deed recorded March 28 shows the $350,000 buyer is Hades Taverna Equities LLC, a Marietta-based company.

Ted Evgeniadis, manager of Hades Taverna Equities, confirmed the June reopen and told LNP the new team plans to blend "traditional Bucket fare with upgraded hellish flare." Love to see it.
